  Spent two wonderful weeks at Harbortown. Condo was spotless and very well kept by owners as well as the Home Owners Association. Additionally, the property management team does a great job at handling all details of the stay. The location between the marinas provides a great view and the pool and club area very nicely kept. Amenities including Palm Island facilities just perfect including water taxi and Rumbay and Leverock’s restaurants. . Boat owners and other condo guests and owners all very friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to go back.

  We rented this unit in this location to test the marina life. The unit was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Leverock's Restaurant is a gem a 200 foot walk away. If considering Palm Island, the marina is a good place to start without the isolation of the Island itself but access to all the resort amenities.

  We stayed in unit 1113 considered an upgraded unit. Several of our group had units as well one other upgraded and 2 regular. Could not really tell the difference. Our unit had upgraded electronics but kitchen frig old, old countertops, microwave almost useless in size and cooking capabilities, curtains dirty, cleaned pans before we could use them. Other upgraded unit had upgraded kitchen and old electronics. Units that were standard seemed to have same amenities as so called upgrades. Palm Island is beautiful and we enjoy our stay, just think pricing should be uniform for units unless a complete upgrade is done. They were clean and had extra towels, dishes were plentiful. Had one live roach, we killed it and one dead roach stuck between a locked cabinet door. The pool and staff at Leverocks were wonderful. We enjoyed the bands, drinks and food by the pool. The pavilion was reserved for us to have a pot luck dinner and was very nice to use for our get together. Took the ferry to Palm Island to eat at the Rum Bay restaurant and were disappointed this time. Food was slow coming out (large group of 14) ribs overcooked, fish undercooked but have been here before and food was excellent so maybe just an off night. The amenities outweigh the minor inconvenience's, location, staff, pool and bar are all pluses for a fun weekend. We will come back.

  Our unit was very nice and suited our needs for a brief visit to the local area. My only complaint is with what I experienced in making the reservation. Here is how it went: I looked at your website to pick a unit, but many did not have interior photos available. I called to inquire about making a reservation and it was suggested to me that I do so online. So I went back to the website and chose one of the few marina condos that had photos available and made my reservation with a credit card, or so I thought. I then received an email saying I would be contacted to complete the reservation! So I called again to try and finish the process and I was told I would shortly receive an email confirming the reservation. I hung up and waited and several hours passed so I called again and this time got a different representative who said they normally get lists of online reservations the next day but she could find my reservation and complete it now, which she did. I have never seen such an arduous reservation process! This should be fixed.

  It was fun to get away w/ out going too far this past Thanksgiving weekend. We kayak, and the local water was beautiful. It was a short drive to Don Pedro State Park & Placida. The shuttleboat captain was very friendly & was always on time. Leverock's & Rum Bay Restaurants had terrific food & the staffs were very friendly & professional. We would definitely go back to the Resort for a weekend.

  We would have been happy to take trash out every night as there were ants in the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom, but could not find any extra trashbags, so were unable to do this. The tile floor was extremely sticky and had to be rinsed off with wet paper
  towels as there was not a mop. Suds actually appeared on the floor when damp Also, there were crumbs behind the coffee pot and toaster that I'm sure contributed to ants being in the unit. Exhaust fan in bathroom appears to have been installed backwards as
  it blows in rather than exhausting out. Unit is very tastefully decorated, kitchen more than adequately equipped, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We did enjoy our visit and will definitely return. The items mentioned above will hopefully make the next
  guest's visit perfect.

  We always stay at the Marina with our Yacht Club in September (Fort Myers Beach Yacht Club). For the last three years we have had to wait for someone from the island to bring us keys to a different room because they never get the reservation right. We are always placed in the wrong building facing the wrong direction. It would be so much easier if a. you get it right the first time, and/of b. the keys to Marina properties were avilable on the mainland. We will be attending again this September. Hope the fourth time is the charm.
