Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.

  I would highly recommend this quiet retreat of a resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach and tennis vacation. The beach was secluded and picturesque. The resort was beautifully landscaped and well maintained.

  My wife and I loved our stay on Palm Island. The only issue was the owner below us smoked on her deck nonstop and her Black Lab barked at every move we made and all people walking by. I know there is not much you can do about this, but it did make it tough to sit on the deck and enjoy a cocktail.

  I’ve been coming here for years and always love that you feel like the only one here. However, being that you are a resort, there are a few areas I feel could be improved.
  1. Towels should be available at all pools. You shouldn’t have to use your unit towels or bring some from home. Even small hotels offer this.
  2. Let people know when checking in if their place is on the top floor. People have health conditions and should know about steps.
  3. Let people know when booking that their pool is being repaired. Had I known, I would have chosen another unit.
  4. Consider offering drinks poolside.
  5. Coconuts breakfast should be stepped up.
  6. Massage was great. This should be promoted more.

    Thank you for your feedback. The villas are individually owned and the pools cared for by the Home Owners Associations, so servicing the pool areas would be great, but would certainly be expensive. Maybe someday. We hope to see you on island again, please request a first floor from our wonderful reservations experts.

  We had a wonderful and relaxing time, despite the chilly & windy weather! Loved the rental, the beach and the heated pool & hot tub. We also scheduled massages were amazing!! And, rent the golf cart as it was also fun. Regarding food, we cooked all but one of our meals. Gas grills were easy to use.

  What a beautiful beach...amazing shells and such pretty water. Our only sadness with the resort was that our shower broke and we had to move condos after one night. This was unforeseeable but the management made us feel like they were doing us a huge favor even though we were greatly inconvenienced.

  My husband and I stayed in this cute condo for a grown ups only getaway. We were pleased to find that it had everything we needed. The only negative was that the night we arrived at 8:30 pm, we found that the AC wasn’t working, and when we called for assistance, we were told maintenance wouldn’t be available until morning. It made for a hot first night, but otherwise, everything was wonderful, and we can’t wait to return!

  The location and rental unit were excellent. The staff, with exceptions noted below, were friendly and attentive.
  
  On a barrier island where the units are arranged to highlight the surroundings and cats aren't allowed, this was a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place. You have to slow down! Ther only thing that approached crowded was the restaurant. We debated renting a golf cart for our stay and we're glad we did. It gave us the freedom to explore more of the island and access the north beachs where the best shells are located.
  
  We chose to not bring groceries since we were only there 2 nights and didn't want to cook or do dishes. I'll probably bring them next time. The restaurant is overrated. The food selection was interesting but the preparation was average, at best. The service was very poor both times we ate there with different wait staff each time. "Island time" is one thing, but disinterested, grumpy staff who don't listen and aren't helpful are another. One waiter didn't bother staying at our table long enough to take or full drink order. Our food orders were wrong and the food was served cold.
  
  Will I come again? Absolutely! Next time, I'll bring groceries and consider going to the mainland for that dinner out.

  We loved our vacation on Palm Island! We had a beautiful view from our condo, and the weather was perfect! We enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch, drinking our morning coffee, listening to the waves, and just enjoying the view of the beach. If you want a quiet, relaxing, vacation, this is the place to be! The staff is very friendly, the restaurant, (Rum Bay) was very good and reasonably priced, and the ice cream from "Coconuts" was very good! We rented bikes so we could explore the island and also get some exercise. The beach has tons of beautiful shells, and we were able to collect several sand dollars also! This is probably the most relaxing vacation we have ever been on!

  The one bedroom that we had was spotless, the kitchen was well equiped and the golf cart was most useful to visit the area.

  It is always relaxing!! You can do as much (paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking and biking) or as little (relaxing, wave watching or having dinner and cocktails) as you want. We love relaxing on the beach and floating in the calm waters before grilling out for dinner. We love having the condo with a kitchen and grills available. After a day on the beach being able to swim at the pool and grill is a perfect day for us.
