Located at Palm Island Resort on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.

  This was our first time staying at Palm Island Resort and our stay exceeded expectations! The villa itself is beautiful, welcoming, updated, and well maintained. We very comfortably stayed as a family of four in the unit. The beach was easily accessible and it was helpful that the path was clearly marked. We appreciated that the resort has a very family friendly atmosphere. There are things to do on the island aside from the beach including a playground, a pool, a gift shop, an ice cream bar, and a restaurant with a kid friendly menu. The entire staff, from guest services to the ferry deck hands, were polite, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We would definitely recommend Palm Island Resort to anyone looking for a private, quiet, and relaxing vacation stay!

  The the management company, grounds, and over-all island experience was great. we have always been impressed with the management company...very well run. I was though surprised that we were charged full price when there was dry wall patches everywhere and door molding removed on both doors fir repairs. Clearly there is still a lot of work to be done on this unit. the unit was not ready to rent. On the cleaning side it was clean with the exception of the master shower. the cleaning crew must have forgotten to clean it as there was dirt and sand on the tile floor of the shower. A mention to the owner that they should maybe spend the $25 a month and add Netflix to the Cable subscription. they have the basic cable package which gives very little options. At $4500 a week $25 is nothing. that's my two cents! over-all a good experience. thank you.

  This is a great villa. I love it's location. We've stayed in it before and plan on returning in a few months. The villa needs to be restocked with some new dishes (two cups leaked) and there was not a large skillet, just a very small one. Ants showed up but management took care of the issue quickly. Overall, none of those things ruined our vacation and we had a fantastic time.

  We have been coming to this resort for over 10 years and this was a first for us in this unit and we were happy with almost everything. We generally prepare our meals in the unit, it was disappointing to find that all of the utility knives were rusty, the cooking utensils were plastic and had apparently been used on the grill. There was no frying pan (breakfast) so that whole pot situation needs to be updated, and a little more glassware would also be nice.

  We love Palm Island Resort. Workers are friendly and happy. Our unit this year needs more dishes and silverware. Furnishings were nice comfy beds. But if you're doing much cooking you need more silverware and hot pads to name a couple. But we'll look forward to our next time here. It's a wonderful vacation.

  Hard to believe what a great getaway Palm Island is. You truly feel like you have arrived in the Caribbean, yet it is so easy to get to. The staff go out of their way to make sure you have a perfect vacation, from the second you park your car and get on island time, to the sad time you have you to leave.
  Our unit (and we have seen half a dozen others) was immaculate, had a great view, and was so close to the best beach in Florida. Wouldn't change a thing about our getaway.

  Our Cruising Club came to Palm Island Resort in our boats for a two night visit. Everything worked out well, including the rooms, the restaurant, and the get together in the Club House on our last night. The only thing that could be improved is the service to and from the dock area for boaters. it would be nice to have a bellman on hand as the boats docked, to help tie them up and to handle the luggage trip to the check in area.
  A fabulous beach with an amazing number of shark's teeth to find in the sand. Maybe the best in Florida?
